I have one more week extended school ‘holiday’. But more works to do leh, if like this I prefer the school to start asap. All because of H1N1. You know that month of june is school holiday here and MOE already announced that the school will start as per usual which is next week. So all neighbourhood school will start next week after one month holiday. As for my school, since I am now attahced to one of the international school here, the school board decided to close for another week. International school here have their own programme and syllabus. But no holiday lah of course, got to make sure the e-learning process works smoothly.

Yesterday (saturday) we went to Punggol Beach park. As a supportive wife haha, gotta support hubby that want to try his new infra red filter. We’ve never been there before. So far this is the most natural beach park that we ever went in Singapore ya. But the sun, I tell you, very hot lah. Shouldn’t be there before 6pm. Yes, you can see the sun set, but yesterday sun set not so good, got clouds. DH enjoyed his photo walks. We arrived about 5pm and finished about almost 8pm.
And today afternoon after mass, DH prepared our lunch, a very salty steak haha. The steak became very salty because over marinated I think. So we keep the steak to make fried rice for dinner. Hopefully this one turn out good ya.

Sherlock Holmes is the best-loved creation of the Scottish writer of detective stories and historical romances, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (1859-1930), who studied medicine in Edinburgh. Doyle’s general practice in Southsea failed and after a stint as an oculist in London, which also failed to relieve his poverty, he took to writing fiction.
The detective stories featuring Holmes and his friend Dr John Watson have changed the way modern crime writers approach detective fiction. Sherlock Holmes was so loved by readers that when Doyle, tiring of the popular character, killed him off, there was such national dismay that he had to be bought back to life in 1903.
Although Doyle wrote several other novels, none provoked the same degree of fondness or fanaticism with the public and these have generally been underrated. The popularity of the adventures of Sherlock Holmes has never waned. ~~ from the bookcover.

I bought this book quite some time ago, few months back (I think about 6 months ago) for $8.90 ONLY at Lucky Plaza level 1. I LOVE this book so much. Can you imagine you have a complete story of Sherlock Holmes’ adventures. After hard work at school, came back home, I can enjoy reading this book on my green couch with my favourite music on. Sometimes I like to read while drinking a cup of hot tea on weekend and it’s raining outside. I like to hear the sound of rain touches the earth while enjoy my tea and my book. And this is the kind of book that I enjoyed very much.
DH likes to tease me when I read this book, he said it’s look like I am reading a telephone booklist, you know the yellowpages thick book. Yeah, this book is so heavy and thick, it looks like yellowpages thick book kind. I am still reading this book, not finish yet.
